Finally more about Rowan!

Here's the sweet new little Cartmill. Isn't he just one of the cutest most precious newborn you've seen? I haven't seem him in person yet, but I wanted to at least post the pic we got over email and some info from the proud parents.

For those who like knowing the baby stats he weighed 6lbs11ounces and was 19inches tall.

Rowen means "little red haired one". Since it is unlikely that Rowen's hair will turn red (he is currently sporting black hair on his cone shaped head), we chose this name because: 1) we liked it and 2)he will give meaning to his name by the life he lives

Christopher means "to bear Christ". It is our earnest prayer that Rowen will grow to become a man after God's own heart who loves others as Christ loves us. In addition, we are honored to name our son after my uncle who has taught me (and many others) a great deal about what it means to live, love, and dream.
