3 pirates, a tigger, and the look of disgust...

Wednesday morning my mom's group met and many of the kids showed up in costumes (we hadn't planned to have a special Halloween gathering, it just happened that way this week). Kristin brought a fun kids book talking about a Christian's viewpoint on Halloween festivities and she read it to the kids - very cute.

Ayla was the most adorable little zebra...she thought Cade's costume was really funny.
Rowen the hungry pirate. Isn't he precious?

Kaylie the fairy!
"Tell us how you REALLY feel about all this..."
Jude was HILARIOUS!! He looked around at the kids in their costumes with this look of utter disgust for quite a while. He was the one without an outfit on - turns out he doesn't love to dress up. :) What a cutie.
One more of the sweet fairy.
Sleepy Jude & his mommy.

Later that afternoon, Katie hung out for a while before she left to get ready for the party at Trevor's she and Daniel were helping with. Johanna got to spend the night with us. After naps I got the kids in the van and went over to visit my aunt at Wizer's grocery store where she works and go to the Harvest Fest at Millenium Park. It was...quite something to take all three on an outing by myself, but everything went well overall. :) Here are some pics from the rest of the day.
