Hope you had a Happy 4th!

We really had a great day last Wednesday. It was so nice to get to spend the whole day with Kevin since we hadn't really had a lot of down time as a family since he got home from Malaysia (when we were together over the weekend, he'd spent most of it in bed and not feeling well). It was near-perfect weather - clear, blue skies and very warm - upper 80s, maybe 90s? We went to Smith Berry Barn's Berry Festival. There was a petting zoo, which Callum LOVED! It was so cute, as soon as I let him down he practically ran towards the animals from across the yard where we were eating lunch with his little arms outstretched toward the baby goats. There was also face painting, homemade berry desserts, and a folkish band who performed a contrasting array of their own music (I'm guessing), alongside covers like, Margaritaville. We had lunch, picked some raspberries, bought some pre-picked strawberries and just enjoyed being at the farm. Then we went to Baggenstos Farm and the boys played on the playground while I picked out some fresh produce. We ran into Natalee and John who had been picking berries, so that was kinda fun! Then we went home and gave the boys naps and just relaxed. Cade and Kevin picked out some fireworks and then we had dinner at Red Robin. After dinner, we came home and Callum was ready for bed so we put him down and went out in the street to let off some fireworks and sparklers. Here are some of my favorite pics from that day:
