This past weekend we had a great time celebrating Kevin's grandpa's 85th birthday & the annual Schilperoort reunion. This pic is just Kevin's immediate family (his parents and siblings), but the photographer also took pics of the entire group (which Callum screamed through). Kevin's dad has 2 sisters and 2 brothers so potentially, that's a huge group photo! Here are some of my favorite pics from the weekend.
Cade and Leah with their cowboy hats. They had so much fun playing together all weekend.
Casey took this pic of Baby Asher smiling at me. Isn't he so cute?
Kevin's parents live in Sunnyside so we spent the majority of the time at their house. For the actual family events, we met up with the rest of the extended family at Sunnyside Christian Elementary. It was great to be at a school because there was tons of fun stuff for the kids to play with, including three playground areas all within the same general area and lots of fun things to do in the gym. Here's Cade climbing on the monkey bars. The weather was absolutely perfect!
Cade & Leah - the little monkeys!
Cousins.
My sweet little niece, Kaya.
Michael and Tyler were so sweet to the "little" kids (Leah and Cade). Cade has been talking about their "new friends, Michael and Tyler" all week and telling me memories he has of the fun weekend. This morning he told me he really wants to have Michael and Tyler over because he "really misses them."
Callum and me.
I think it's funny how it looks like Callum is really riding this trike? He could barely reach the pedals, but he loved climbing up onto the trike and being pushed around.
There were tons of flying turtles in the gym for the kids to ride on. They loved them!
Grandma Daubin, Leah, & Kaya walking in from the playground.
The meals were great!
Open wide, Callum!
Casey, Abbe, and Baby Asher John. Sweet family pics. They are such a fun couple - we're fortunate to have them in our family. It was also wonderful to hang out with Jen (Kevin's sis) and Keith quite a bit (and stay up WAY too late with them). We just don't see any of them enough. It is so fun to have family that feels a lot more like good friends who I'd actually pick to spend lots of time with. :) Very blessed.

Annie, you take such great pictures! I have to say though, it can't be TOO, TOO hard with such super-adorable boys! :)
