Yesterday Callum Christian celebrated his first birthday! At 10am we welcomed the other members of our mom's group (including Amber-Rose & Baby Isaac who are visiting from Austin). I have wanted to get pictures up earlier this week, but sorting through/editing the 500 or so pics I took over the past week (with Jennifer having her baby, Cade's birthday, and the family birthday for the three kids) seemed like a daunting task amidst an already over-busy week. Anyway! Here are some to start with of Callum's party (actually it was Callum, Johanna's, Kaylie's, and Jude's parties too. We decided to celebrate all the newly/nearly 1 year olds in our mom's group at this party. The Ahlschlager girls joined us last minute as well, as you will see from the pics!
First we sang to the boys and they got cake. Jude turned 1 three weeks ago (4/5). Callum helped himself to Jude's cake when he was finished and then Jude swiped Callum's hat and sat there snaping the string as Callum watched with a concerned look on his face.
When Johanna (bday: 5/4) and Kaylie (4/25) woke up from their naps we sang to them and snapped tons of pics while they munched. (They would have nothing to do with their birthday hats).
It made Callum's birthday even more special to have Amber-Rose and Isaac at the party! (We did miss the rest of the Zimel men though)!

Jack, Cade, and the girls had a fun picnic lunch outside and ran around playing in the yard for quite a while.
