Well, as the dark clouds of November roll in (wow that has an awfully glum ring to it, eh?), here is a reminder of the great blessing of our extended Indian Summer here in the beautiful NW. Thank you Lord for the lovely days and now for the rain since we know it is one of Your ways of eventually making all things new. Give us the grace, under these uncertain and gray coverings, to remember the overflow of good gifts you give us each day and to tell you "thanks." 
And when all else fails, sneak on some early Christmas music (or some 80's music) and dance like Winona Rider in Reality Bites - it really will make you happy! I promise.
